Benteler Group Expands Autonomous Manufacturing Base in Florida, USA
The Case
Benteler Group, based in Austria, is a leading global automotive company with 78 facilities in 27 countries. HOLON, a division of Benteler Group, intends to establish three production sites to enhance their global manufacturing capacity for Autonomous Urban. Three strategic locations are selected: USA, Saudi Arabia, and Europe. The site in Jacksonville, Florida, USA, is the first move before the other two.
Goals and Methods
EuroGrowth offers strategic advisory services, government relationship management, international affairs management, and media solutions for this initiative. The implementation is currently in progress.
Result
The upcoming facility at Eastport Industrial Park will cover about 580,000 square feet and will be Florida's inaugural autonomous vehicle production site. The groundbreaking ceremony is set for April 2026, with commissioning anticipated in the latter half of 2027. The project represents a total investment of US$250 million.
